Cocoa Coco Granola

This perfect not-too-sweet granola recipe is perfect for breakfast or dessert! A healthy alternative to satisfy the sweet tooth of chocolate lovers.

Makes about 4 cups

I N G R E D I E N T S

2 cup old fashioned oats

1 cup raw almonds

1/4 cup sunflower seeds

1/3 cup pumpkin seeds

1/4 cup shaved coconut (unsweetened)

1 Tbsp cinnamon

1/4 cup cocoa powder

1/2 tsp salt

1/3 cup maple syrup

1/4 cup melted coconut oil

1/3 cup bittersweet chocolate, chopped into chunks

Preheat oven to 325. Place 1 total cup of oats and 1/2 cup almonds in a food processor until slightly ground. Mix all dry ingredients including spices and cocoa in a bowl. Add wet ingredients (syrup/oil) and mix well. Add chocolate chunks in last. Pat down granola mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. bake for 15-25 mins until starts to brown. watch carefully!

Half-way through baking, add a bit of Maldon sea salt as a finishing touch! This is a s super adaptable recipe, as long as you make sure your dry vs. wet portions are correct.
